Pure Life Fitness is the longest-running gym in the area; as of 2022, we have been running for 12 years!
Pure Life Fitness is not your everyday gym - no two classes are ever the same, there are no machines, no treadmills. Using your bodyweight, kettlebells, TRX suspension trainers, free weights, and kickboxing will get stronger, fitter, and healthier.
Classes are structured to challenge, build strength, and train you for your life, no matter your starting level. Your goal is our goal. The best part of Pure Life Fitness? The community. The PLF community will support you every step of the way!

Owner
It’s been over 20 years since I started training people in martial arts and physical preparedness. The basics done regularly have kept me strong and durable and they will for you also. As an athlete in the game of life, aging can be rough on anyone. Living life as a spectator was never my style and as a young father of 4 boys it was clear that you must keep yourself in good working order to be able to play hard and be involved. I’m proud to say at the age of 63 my physical condition is not limiting me in any way – I keep up with my (now grown) boys and frequently hike with my wife and friends.
Over the owner and founder of the longest running gym in Hollis, it has been my pleasure to have this adventure encouraging and pushing people to get stronger and participate fully in life. There isn’t a workout that I have written that I didn’t try first to be sure it was going to pass the test of “challenging – yet do-able”.
It’s been my mission to keep myself always ready for anything and to transform the Pure Life Fitness members into the same state of readiness. The people that come through our doors have regular epiphanies in their daily lives that attest to the fact that being stronger makes them much harder to break. We lift heavy things and do hard sessions that take endurance as well as strength. We train for life.
